Tommy Davis is from McAllen, Texas. He lives and works in New York, NY, and Basalt, Colorado. His first feature documentary, MOJADOS, won the SXSW Audience Award and was acquired by Canal +. His follow-up, ONE MINUTE TO NINE (EVERY F—-ING DAY OF MY LIFE), premiered at The Locarno International Film Festival and was acquired by HBO Documentaries. His short documentary, BLACK ROCK BLUES, was awarded an Edward R. Murrow Award. His short film work has screened at festivals such as Clermont Ferrand International Short Film Festival and The New York Film Festival.
His latest short film, THE HONEYMOON, premiered on Channel 4 in the UK.
